...on our way!
So... We are off and running again! I'm starting this off from the airport on Syracuse at our new "lounge" (not much really, but we do get a good cup of free coffee!). So far so good. The weather gods appear to have given us a pass today; it's gloomy enough to still want to get out of here, but nice enough to do so without fear of delays or flight problems! Most importantly today, thanks to a wonderfully generous Coast Guard parent who donated us some expiring elite points and got us upgraded to 1st class for the red-eye leg! With luck, we may actually sleep on the way to Spain, and arrive as real humans as opposed to our usual 1st day zombie status :-) Definitely settling into fully retired mode!
